Who returns from Evansville Semistate?

Say What?

Here are last years results.  Take out the seniors and that's a decent list for this coming season.

Here last years bracket to fill in those eliminated in the first round or start of consolations.

I saw Ethan Herrin from jennings county this offseason beat a couple of really good wrestlers at 138. looked strong and was impressive for a freshman. He went 33-9 going into ss last year at 132. keep an eye out for him.

Evansville has a lot of returning kids from a lot of schools who did well the last 2 years, plus the amount of top and second tier (working to be in the top) wrestlers in post-season tournaments was impressive.  This will be an impressive semi-state this year across nearly all the weight classes.

Any serious threats for a state title? Thacker, Kelley, Lee? Others

names that probably need in the discussion along with your (3) mentioned would be:

DJ Smith

Brock Hudkins

Bailey Lahue

Tyler Fleener

Skyler Lykins

Devin Broukal

Isaiah Kemper

Jordan Partee

Jake Rickenbaugh

Rudy Harris

Connor Tolley

Gavin Jolley-Little

Add your 3 and that is the top 15 from evansville ss worth mention of a possible state title.

My guess is 2 at most win and those being Thacker and/or Kelley

I guess state title contenders will depend a lot on what weight they end up at. There is a group of kids here in Evansville that are still wrestling. I would think they are making good gains at making a step up from last year. Are there any late summer camps in the Indy to Evansville area that are going to going on?

No one else want to comment? I don't know enough about the wrestlers to make a list. A guess would be all it would be. Surly someone other than TripleB can do this. Come on, someone. The FW thread has 6 pages. No one in southern Indiana reads these?
