Interesting to see heavyweight and 182 in the middle of the pack with 44 forfeits right beside 132.

This data tells an interesting story.. if a team simply has all the weight classes filled, they can expect to start a dual meet against the average Indiana high school team with a 12.5 point lead..

 

This was arrived at by taking (6*probability of 106 forfeit) + (6*probability of 113 forfeit) + etc, etc. 

 

Hard to beat a decent team spotting them 12.5 points.

I think what throws the data off is if you don't have a 106 you can't move a kid up

In the upper weights you can move a kid up

It makes it look like you have a lot of big kids but not little ones

The kids hurt the most are the middle weights

In all our jv meets we were heavy in the middle but light in the lower and heavy weights

We have a lot of good kids in the middle having to wrestle on the jv right now

I think the weight classes need to be changed

Just my opinion
