Coach Hull Posted March 6, 2013 Share Posted March 6, 2013 It's official. Starting tomorrow Warren Central High School will now host a 2013 Regional Training Center at their world class facility! Home of multiple local and national wrestling events, Warren Central is located east of Indianapolis off of I-70 and Post Road. Please enter through Door 14 and the Wrestling facility is upstairs by the weight room, overlooking the field house. Practice will be held Wednesdays from 6p - 8p and traditionally will cover USAW Core Curriculum, advanced Technique, great competition, and will feature some of Indiana's best clinicians. With ISWA Folkstyle State, Scholastic Duals, Folkstyle Nationals, Flo Nationals, Cadet World Team Trials, Cadet National Duals, Junior National Duals, Fargo, and a variety of local tournaments in between, all ISWA Regional Training Centers are one of the necessary places to train in order to get to that next level - including this one. Be sure to come out for national caliber competition, world class facility, and a fun environment. Last week we rolled with 50+ wrestlers, representing over a dozen schools, and featuring some of the top competitors in the state and country. Tonight's session will be more of the same as we prepare for Franklin's Iron Man, Cadet World Team Trials, and the other F&G tournaments coming up. Multiple state champions, placers, semi-state qualifiers, collegiate athletes, etc. were in attendance all looking to take it to the next level. Be sure to hit as many RTC's as you can to train with the best. At no other time throughout the year do wrestlers have FREE access to the caliber of training partners than when training at an ISWA RTC. Last week was awesome with multiple state champs, collegiate wrestlers, and overall studs training for greatness. Tonight will be more of the same as we typically average 60+ wrestlers getting after it. We will be training Freestyle and Greco as our Indiana guys get ready for ISWA F/G, Central Regionals, Southeast Regionals, Cadet and Junior Duels, and Fargo! If you haven't been at least once then you are missing out on a very competitive and decorated room, great clinicians, hard work, world class facility and a fun time! RTC's will go all summer for the variety of state, regional and local tournaments left, most notably the FILAS, Cadet & Junior Duels, and Fargo - so there will be other opportunities. Still, because of the importance of the ISWA F & G tournament, if you truly want to beat the best then you have to train and compete with the best. The average wrestler was done in February. The above-average wrestler takes a break in May. But there are unique group of dedicated wrestlers who are truly looking to take it to the next level. These are the athletes that will continue to strive for greatness and train year-round. They will be in attendance tonight, and they will also be the majority of the guys that make the biggest stride next season. With that said, if you are looking to continue training, come out to Warren Central's RTC tonight from 6p to 8p. Whether you are preparing for Central Regionals, FILAs, Schoolboy Duels, Cadet Duels, Junior Duels, or Fargo, Warren's RTC is the place to be in East-Central Indiana on Wednesdays. Elite training opportunities are harder to come by at this time of year so it is important to take advantage of everything you can to ensure you give yourself the best possibilities. Even if it isn't here, definitely make your way to any and all RTCs you can. One of the absolute best times of the year to train as some of the best in the state and country gear up for the Schoolboy Duels, FILA Cadets, Cadet Duels, FILA Juniors, Junior Duals, and Fargo.
