MattM
For an up an coming lightweight fighter, any connection he can get with Fabers Team Alpha Male would be a positive. They have what could be the group for training lowery weight fighter you can find. If anything maybe the chance could provide Jarred a chance to gain more access to that camp. B Campbell
"115 pound weight class will be coming soon and he is very excited about that!!!" He would be a monster at 115! And still not have to cut weight!!! I also know several others that would benefit from a 115 class.

NLCards
I saw he just won a fight in Feb... Does anyone know his plans in the future? Jarred won a fight in Feb. at 115lbs in Japan and a fight this past weekend at 125lbs. in Russia that was supposedly part of an 8 man tourney. I assume that means his next fight will be in Russia as a progression of that tourney. Either way, he is getting bigger and bigger fights so I'd look for him to get a fight in RFA, Titan, WSOF or Bellator soon.

NLCards
I thought the Japan fight was somehow connected to WSOF. It was -- WSOF Global, but that's not the same as having a contract with WSOF. Also, I believe Jarred was set to try out for Season 24 of the Ultimate Fighter which was going to be a flyweight season, but for some reason the UFC cancelled the tryouts and has made no further announcements about Season 24. MattM
UFC just announced season 24 is a go and will feature Flyweights coaches by Henry Cejudo and Joseph Benevidez. Word is they will not have tryouts and will just hand pick the fighters based on resume and the recomendations from the major coaches/gyms. maligned
No one's been on this board in a while, but a couple updates on Brooks: -Signed with Japan's legendary Pancrase fight promotion in 2016, which will pit him against many of the world's top strawweights since it is largely an Asian division and Pancrase is arguably the top strawweight promotion. He won his first fight with Pancrase in October. -Currently ranked the #1 Strawweight IN THE WORLD on FightMatrix.com (FightMatrix tracks dozens of promotions and thousands of fighters and uses a system of combining promotional and popular rankings and predictive computer analysis to produce highly respected, typically very accurate, cross-promotion global rankings) Edited January 5, 2017 by maligned
UncleJimmy
With the recent UFC sale could they possibly sanction a straw weight division soon? Gotta grow that revenue somehow to justify that price.
maligned
With the recent UFC sale could they possibly sanction a straw weight division soon? Gotta grow that revenue somehow to justify that price. It seems doubtful. FightMatrix has only 25 fighters, and 4 outside Asia, even ranked at strawweight. That's a global total. They have hundreds ranked in other divisions. Even flyweight, which struggles to find depth at times, has close to 300 ranked. FCFIGHTER170
He would wreck most of the 125ers in the ufc as well...he trains with a good friend of mine James Lee and he's really molding into a elite fighter awood2
