X_R A T E D
knapp just beat sawyer miller 12-2 this last weekend yes knapp did win by 10 and looked very impressive but if you remember it was only 2-0 going into the third. Sawyer was desperate and tried 3 throws in the 3rd period and knapp got back points from all the attempted throws.

M109R
I hope someone does give Stevan a match I'm sure he wants to be pushed also. I'm just not sure that is going to happen. Micic looks amazing I would bet he hasn't gone 6 minutes all year. For knapp to get there he would have to get past Davis/Cottey both placers Davis who beat knapp last year and has been tech'ed twice by micic. But anything could happen Yeah and Davis is a very good wrestler . I believe he only has 2 losses at 113( Both to Micic) his other losses were at 120 . Micic is on a different level than any other wrestler at 113 . He will easily be the champion .
Smooth34
every weight is a toss up. i love it!!!! Sliga is a lock at 195. I would be stunned if Micic didn't win at 113, LeCount didn't win at 132, and Molloy didn't win at 145 10 out of 14 weights are toss-ups though. Should be a heck of a tournament. bigmak
Gettinger... that's him. Thanks. Kids a stud! No one seen James losing at ss. Then Gettinger was completely dominating Harvey when Harvey couldn't continue. Just looked and he has Fuqua and Crume in his half. 126 looks rough. he also dominated harvey at spartan classic. gettingers only loss was a fluke as far as im concerned to fuller when he wrestled up to 132 that night. fuller was a SQ last year and longtime cody phillips wrestling partner. gettinger has wrestled so much better this year, its unbelievable how good he is now. excoach
Wow, you guys probably have a good arguement on most of your picks, but im curious why none of you picked Blanton at 138? I don't know the Hupp kid or ever seen him wrestle, but Im sure you will see some great competition at 138. But my money is on Blanton. He is the real deal. Good luck to all the other wrestler's.GRWrFH

Fun weight class.

baguba15
knapp just beat sawyer miller 12-2 this last weekend If you remember it was only 2-0 Knapp going into the third period when Sawyer started getting nervous and trying throws, beginning with almost a full period left. If Sawyer wouldn't have continually thrown himself to his back, then it would have been much closer or maybe a win for Sawyer.

I have seen blanton wrestle probably 10 matches this year, including all his semi state matches and the match against #6 @145 cody handley. I have seen hupp wrestle several matches in the last 2 years including his win thru the spartan classic bracket. I realize forte beat blanton last year and I know carroll is great...just right now blanton is wrestling better than any of them although anything can happen. that weight class is definately a fun one. 106:Red/Sinkovics/Lee/Pepple 113:Micic/Knapp/Cottey/Chastain 120:Phillips/Wilson/Hughes/Moser 126:Gettinger/James/Crume/Denton 132:LeCount/Moss/Baysinger/ Burlison 138:Blanton/Forte/Carroll/Hupp 145:Molloy/Handley/Walker/Macri 152:Farrell/Bradley/Carsaro/Schurg 160:McCloskey/McClurg/Hiestand/Parkinson 170:Lefever/Stevenson/Floor/Linnear 182:Masengale/Hurford/Thacker/Busse 195:Sliga/Ricks/Fiddler/Nickell 220:Robinson/Miler/Tolley/Hernandez HWT:Winfield/Bernard/Hemmelgarn/Beard

benni hanna 79
Sinko has been hot when it counts. He just teched Garza last week. Garza has only lost to Jake and Jabari Moody from the Harvey Twisters (IL) and that kid is incredible. It's hard to take Red over Jake at this point. jaw0235
obviously you havent seen Sinkovics wrestle this year, especially down the stretch. He has been COMPLETELY dominant. Nothing against Red, he is a very good wrestler, but I just dont see anyone hanging with Sinkovics at all. He has pinned or teched (mostly teched) every wrestler he has faced in the state series. 1gold
Sinko better not look past this Hudkins kid.. Impressed me for being a freshman. I think Oglesby doesn't even know how good he really is.. If he gets his head right , he may pull off a shocker.. These are my short shots because they both have the talent to win a couple titles.. I dont consider either one a long shot!!
