I agree NV could win as many as 12 weights!  TH South 106 will have a tough 1st round matchup against Jasper kid.  THS 170 will have a tough match, and 120 Lewis against Graber should be a good one.

106

Schermer

McCoy

Hurst

Robertson

113

Koerner

Pemberton

Brock

Newton

How good is Newton? What was score with Newton and Koerner?

120

Runyon

Schitter

Graber

Arthur

126

Chevez

Elia

Orndorf

Glenn

Chevez should roll

132

Broukal

Meza

Byrd

Deckard

Meza vs Auberry will be a great first round match

138

Kersteins

Adams

Barlow

Hurst

145

Brescher

Osha

Newforth

Newton

This weight is hard to judge.  Going with an all SR finals, and Osha, Brescher 3

152

Helms

Mundy

Stenftengal

Williams

Mundy should win but I am going with Helms!  One of the weaker weights.

160

Seitzinger

Kreilin

Koontz

Sullivan

Kreilin pinned Seitzinger earlier this year, but look for Seitz to get his revenge.  Kreilin can't overlook a tough Koontz in the semifinals.

170

Shaffer

Galvin

Cissell

Deerwester

I see Deerwester upsetting Wagner.  Galvin over Cisseel with ease, and a NV sectional finals rematch!  Looking forward to this one!

182

Thacker

Chambers

Songer

Fischer

195

Fiddler

Valenciano

Patton

Miller

Miller 34-6/Revolorio 33-9

Patton 31-6/Hall 26-7

220

Haley

Andry

Hoffman

Williams or Joyner I can't decide!

285

Sampson

Dajani

Schwoeppe

RObertson

I can see Robertson upsetting Sampson, after nearly upsetting last week losing 0-1.  My upset pick is Dajani picking off Schwoeppe.

Navy 80 Id be all about Robinson too afterall youd never have won a conference without him. He'll have to get by Davis first not an easy task

Lol. I agree and yeah I forgot to mention Davis vs Robertson first round. Great matchup!

A humble fan's opinion...

106-Schemer, McCoy, Hurst, Robertson

  Schemer/McCoy rematch in finals

113-Koerner/Brock, Pemberton, Koerner/Brock, Newton

Semi-final b/t Koerner and Brock should take this class.

120-Schitter, Runyon, Graber, Arthur

  Schitter is my upset pick

126-Elia, Chevez, Orndorff, Glenn

132-Broukal, Auberry, Bird, Deckard

138-Kersteins, Adams, Hurst, Barlow

145-Osha, Brescher, Newforth, Newton

Another Osha/Brescher battle... could go either way

152-Helms, Mundy, Williams, Stenftenagel

160-Seitzinger, Kreilein, Koontz, Sullivan

170- Schaffer, Galvin, Cissell, Deerwester

182-Thacker, Chambers, Songer, Fischer

Both finals rematches for 1st and 3rd

195-Fiddler, Valenciano, Hall, Miller

After Fiddler, who knows who winds up 2-4!

220-Haley, Andry, Hoffman, Joyner

HWT-Sampson, Schwoeppe, Dajani, Davis

With only 12 ranked wrestlers in this regional, anything can happen here. Should be fun to watch!

how does it work with these schools not having school today, i assume that they did not practice so do they just get a pound tomorrow? can they still participate? I know that this brought up every year but I just never have payed much attention to it.

If one of the schools in the regional is unable to practice due to weather issues (not just a school closing)  then they are to contact the tournament director and inform them of this fact.  The director then contacts the other schools to inform them of this fact and the additional 1lb allowance as a result of this issue.  It's up to their individual school if they are allowed to participate or not.  In the event of a weather issue in the morning I would assume they will try to push back the event if that helps the participating schools arrive safely.  However, at some point the tournament host and the IHSAA has to make a decision (probably based on the # of teams able to be present) about moving forward with the event or postponing it.
