I'm sure their will be a little shake up before this, but we should see some great match ups:

106) #2 Hayden Lee - Garrett - 11

        #3 Michael Garza - Merrillville - 11

        #6 Brock Hudkins - Danville - 9

        #10 Jake Sinkovics - Mishawaka - 11

        #12 Drew Hildebrandt - Penn - 9

* The top (2) met here last year with Garza coming out on top, we'll see if there is a different outcome or if the freshman from Danville has anything to say about it.

113) #4 Zach Davis - Penn - 11

        HM Elliot Molloy - Danville - 9

* Davis should be on top of the podium. We'll see who else wants it.

120) #1 Adam Garcia - Merrillville - 12

        #7 Alex Sparks - Lawerence North - 12

        #8 Drew Hughes - Lowell - 9

        #9 Anthony Schoettle - Center Grove - 12

        #11 Riley Newkirk - Lawerence Central - 12

* Garcia dropping down to 120# has one thing on his mind, State Championship or bust! Will be a good tournament to gauge where frosh phenom Hughes fits into the mix.

126) #1 Nick Crume - Jimtown - 12

        #8 Tyler Fleener - Center Grove - 11

* Another senior who's thinking, State Championship or bust!

132) #6 Grant Martsolf - Mishawaka - 11

        #12 Tom Varner - Penn - ?

* Martsolf should be (1) of a few possible champions for the Cavemen.

138) #1 Tommy Forte - Mishawaka - 10

        #3 Mitch Hartman - SB Clay - 12

        #8 Alex Rinehart - Penn - 11

        #9 Evan Loe - Peru - 11

*#1 Forte should be tested by the senior from Clay with nothing to lose.

145) #1 Neal Molloy - Danville - 12

        #2 Chris Kastafaros - Chesterton - 12

        #3 Tristan Macri - Mishawaka - 11

        #5 Mitch Roadruck - Lowell - 12

        #11 Joey Mammolenti - Penn - 10

* The best weight class by far, 4 of the top 5 wrestlers in the state! Molloy, one of the best in the country, let alone state will be able to prove how good he really is.

152) #10 Brayden Montgomery - Danville - 12

        #11 Trevor Manspeaker - Penn - 12

        #15 Alex Mavros - Lowell - 11

        #16 Sam Ferdig - SB Adams - 12

* Does Montgomery benefit from wrestling one of the best in the practice room everyday? We'll find out.

160) #3 Kenny Hughes - Lowell - 11

        #11 Casey Adams - Jimtown - 11

        #12 Chase Hack - SB Riley - 12

        #14 Chase Osborn - Penn - 10

* It's time for the big Hughes to start taking steps toward a State Championship.

170) #1 Robert Stevenson II - Merrillville - 10

        #2 Scottie Sopko - Hobart - 10

        #4 Tanner Adams - Jimtown - 12

        #15 Marteal Miller - SB Clay - 12

* Can Sopko start to close the gap on Stevenson or will the senior Adams step in?

182) Who wants it?

195) #4 Brad Busse - Bellmont - 12

        #6 Jaylin Allen - SB Clay - 12

        #9 Dominic Avila - SB Riley - 12

        #11 Tieshawn Johnson - Elkhart Memorial - 11

        #13 Myron Hamilton - Lawernce Central - 12

        #15 Joe Stasiak - Penn - 11

        #16 Ryan Patterson - Lowell - 12

* Pretty loaded weight class.

220) #1 Gelen Robinson - Lake Central - 11

        #13 Damian Stone - Center Grove - 12

        #16 Kenan Boyd - SB Adams - 12

* Gelen looking to be a two-timer.

HWT) #6 Drew Ponder - Center Grove - 12

        #9 Rob McKee - Columbus East - 12

        #10 Shawn Streck - Merrillville - 9

        #16 Kali Boyd - SB Adams - 12

* Tough weight class.

I love this tournament. has their been any four time winners I know I only won it twice the tournament is a grinder. My head coach here at McCutcheon is going to be trying to get into this tournament hope there is a spot for them sometime in the future.

Randy Baker won it 4 times for Bellmont.  I think that he might still be the only one to accomplish that feat.

Is the only way into this tournament to have someone drop out themselves, or does Mishawaka reserve the right to toss someone and replace with their choice? I'm sure since it's their tournament they make the rules, but what is the criteria for staying and do they have a waiting list of potential schools that want in?

Coach Snyder explained on here in the past that, yes, there is a waiting list and, yes, they do reserve the right to replace teams that are uncompetitive.  Not sure how it will be going forward, but I would guess many of the decision-makers will be the same and Coach Hasseman will have similar standards.

Will Hayden Lee wrestle 113 at the Al Smith or drop to 106? Most of the results I have seen have him at 113 although his rankings show him in 106. If he does drop it should make for some great matches with Garza, Hudkins, Sinko, Hildebrant........
