Great Match -- I can only image what it would be like to be there --

Boughs v Goudarzi III for the gold -- Hope Burroghs continues to have his number.

Great Atmosphere there....

Thanks for the updates, felt so strange to be this nervous at work while watching NBC.com coverage

Wow that was an amazing capper to an exciting session. Burroughs was clutch as clutch gets. The Iranians have travelled in huge numbers, so it will be a very lively atmosphere for gold. The Iranian is good--completely dominated the Hungarian in the semis. Hes very busy and laterally quick. Burroughs is just as quick and is likely stronger. He didnt attempt many blast doubles, but that just shows that his arsenal is bigger and better and he is more dangerous than ever. Hazewinkel almost made the repachage--no shame in losing to the tough kazak who may end up with the bronze. This is as good as it gets and hopefully Burroughs fulfills his great promise and locks up the gold

55kg Shilimela of Namibia vs Yang of North Korea..kind of weird seeing North Korea here...even weirder that he seems to have a lot of fans. Yang is supposedly a former world champ....yang scores first with a quick td, leads 1-0...yang with a big throw, very nearly pins the african..7-2 yang wins first period in very dominant fashion

Yang of n. Korea vs. Niyazbeko of kazak...first 55kg bronze medal match. 2009 world champ yang is taken down quickly by kazak, returns the favor...pushout for niyazbeko followed by takedown for yang..kazak needs a late td....yang fights him off, wins first period 2-2. Niyazbeko was 3rd at worlds in 2011. Yang is a beast. Quick td and a throw for yang, leads kazak 4-0 following a pushout....another td for yang, just too much for niyazbeko. 5-0. The north koreans are very loud, chanting and stomping their feet nonstop...another td for yang, wins 2nd by tech. Bronze for yang. Velikov of bulgaria vs Yumoto of japan for the other 55kg bronze up next

Yumoto scores first, followed by fleeing the mat call against velikov. Velikov gets a pushout. Period ends 1-1 and even though velikov scored last, his fleeing call gives yumoto the period. Yumoto up 1 period to none. Velikov gets a td in a flurry, leads 1-0. This is his 3rd match of this session, but he still appears fresh. Pushout for yumoto, ties it at 1-1...yumoto wins period and wins bronze

On to 55kg gold medal match...otarsultanov of russia vs khinchegashvilli of georgia...both are 2x jr world champs...lots of georgians in the buidling. Very loud, very drunk. Scoreless thru 90 secs....otarsaltanov looks to reverse, but scoreless first period...balldraw, russian wins it, gets td, wins first period

Otarsultanov with a quick 2nd period td....the georgian responds with a td of his own, ties it at 1-1. These guys are phenomenal...a flurry where both guys get a point for a takedown in the same action. Weird. Russian challenges. Loses. 3-2 georgian leads with 20 secs left in 2nd period...wow, lightning quick, clutch td for russian to tie it 3-3. Amazing reflexes and timing for otarsultinov..gold medal for russian, silver to georgian. Great match

74kg bronze up next, tigiev of uzbek vs hatos of hungary
