randalllynch
Because of the difference in weigh-in procedures people wait to the last minute to see what weight to put the wrestlers in. No room for error in this tournament.

OldGoatGrappler
Can you pre-register without your card # and then get the card at Middle School State? Thanks for any replies. Per the event flier posted at: http://www.ihswca.com/MSState_information.htm - NO cards will be sold the morning of the tournament. If you need a card, go to http://iswa.com/athlete-application and then bring your card # a copy of the PayPal receipt with you to the tournament. jlittlejohn
The IHSAA has in its by-laws a rule that prohibits school-owned uniforms from being worn in non-school contests. Again, this is an IHSAA By-law/Rule. The IHSAA recommends that Middle Schools follow and abide by the same rules and guidelines, but; there is no actual governing body for Middle Schools, so, it is up to each school system, as to, which rules and guidelines they will recognize and enforce. I'd recommend that you consult your school administration to determine if there is, in fact, a conflict or potential problem within your program. As for the IHSWCA Middle School State Championships event, this is not anything that we as officials or event administrators can be expected to enforce or be concerned with, in that, we have no idea what each Middle School's ruling would be; nor, if a siglet/uniform would be school owened. http://www.ihsaa.org/dnn/portals/0/Flip%20Book/By-Laws_2/index.html Rule 15 ? Participation (Page 46) 15-2.1 Individual Sports (Cross Country, Golf, Gymnastics, Swimming, Tennis, Track, Wrestling)? ? d. Member schools may not provide school-owned uniforms (jerseys, shirts, shorts, pants, singlets, or swimsuits, etc.) worn by the student in non-school contests.
