Straight from the Semi-State Rankings:

113:

1.   Anthony Schoettle ? Center Grove

2.   Bailey Lahue ? Corydon Central

3.   Matthew Mastison ? Evansville Harrison

4.   Josh Davis ? Evansville Reitz

5.   Nathan Schnitter ? Jasper

6.   Tyler ?Lock &? Stock ? North Posey

7.   Alex Johnson ? Evansville Mater Dei

8.   Peyton Reese - Franklin

4 of the top 8 are from the Evansville Central Sectional.

I agree 4 of the top 8 are from the Central sectional, but not the top two and I only see one of the four with a shot at beating those two.

One of the assistant coaches told me Davis took the Center Grove kid to the end. If Davis had known there were only 30 seconds left in the match he would have won but instead he was pressuring and gave up a throw by with 13 seconds left to lose by 1 point. Either way I say he learned a lesson with that match.

you guys from Central shouldnt let the troll from north get to you. since thats what he is trying to do. Hohl is good and he will beat their HWT.

Oh ......the troll from North doesn't bother me! Everyone of the kids who steps on the matt deserves respect from the adults in the stands! And also respect when posting comments!

King vs Campbell???? Campbell has to get through Schneider(MD) first.

Schneider beating Campbell is a likely possibility.  Apparently, Campbell's lone loss on the year is to Folz of MD?  Folz dropped to 152.  I doubt if any of the MD folks will comment on this but I would imagine Schneider gets the best of Folz in the wrestling room?

These are the weights that I see the best match ups at. 113 is ridiculous, 120 will be a war, 126 the return of Vanhook, 138 Lannerts to lose, 145 is ridiculous and 170 will be closer for someone.

The rest have locks IMO.

Thoughts:

106 - We will see if anything different happens. Seng will try to close the gap with Kuhn

113 - Anyone's match.......I do not expect it will play out according to seeds. I am thinking Johnson/Stock in finals.

120 Best match is in the semifinals

126 Is Van Hook healty enough to win or just place and get one more week of recovery?

132 Moody, Moody, Moody

138 Lannert although Hoehn and Kelley can do some weird stuff to create scrambles.

145 Not as close as everyone thinks

152 Duh

160 Again---not as competitive as everyone thinks

171 King is tough----but I am not seeing a finals match against North

182 Duh

195 Lane beating Maurer----really?

220 Hope to see a finals match this time

Hvy Don't see Wright getting beat

So you have N upseting everybody at 160, Little upseting Hohl at 285, EVERYONE upseting Mastison at 113, and Appell getting it all at 145? haha that could make things interesting, all very possible.

You didn't hurt my feelings , narrow minded people seem to forget the kids get on here and see what comments are made about them. I'm sorry you don't understand how to build self  esteem, you are obviously one of the (********) that enjoys tearing them down.

Got your message!  I don't think he would've been chosen Junior All State in Football by the coaches in the STATE of Indiana if he wasnt a strong young man! People who make comments like yours are just jealous!  So grow up, grow a pair , put your Big Boy panties on and act like an adult!

It's after 11pm and I can't get to sleep - visions of takedowns, reversals, and pins keep dancing in my head.  I have looked over the brackets for the last time and have tried to make my picks, but I just can't seem to decide.  So, here it is, this is the one pick I feel completely confident in:

152 Rueger

Good luck to all the boys takin' the mats in the morning...I am so, so ready for this State Tourney series to begin!!!
