Recommended Posts

My guess:

106: Boston, Fuqua, Micic

113: Todd/Brooks (could see Brooks push 106 to go for a state title.), Petrov

120: Phillips, LeCount, Ayersman, Carrol, Moss, Welch

126: McKinley, Campbell, Wedding

132: Molloy

138: Rueger, Jackson

145: Tsirtsis

152: Mullins

I heard Sliga would be making the cut to 106lbs.  He would not have even thought of cutting to 103lbs, but the extra 3lbs made it so that he felt he could make the cut and still keep his strength and speed.

someone is trying to start something......lol......

if what people around here are telling me is true, perry meridian's new addition of McClurg at 145 will be huge

Is there a mass exodus from Beech Grove?  No Smiley next year and now possibly no McClurg....

Riley McClurg has been a student at PM for a few weeks now.  He is definitely A FALCON!!  Saw his dad at Center Grove this past week end and he has been coached by PM coaches the last 3 or 4 weeks.

He will be a nice addition to their lineup....  hopefully Riley will finally have a full healthy season... he is a very good kid and good wrestler, but has just been bitten by the injury bug the past few seasons...

sliga vs willis at 182 Wow that would be a great finals, Hurford would probably at 195  Lecount I think 126, Jmac 132, Bova 40,johnson 60, Massengale 82 , Albertson 82 should be interesting

Hurford will probs go 182

Just a guess but the Cathedral Irish could look something like:

120lbs Ben Harvey

126lbs Venezia

132lbs Smiley

138lbs Brian Harvey

152lbs Cosaro

170lbs Willis (or 182lbs)

220lbs Kenny

285lbs Bernard

Kinny and Bernard switching Places???  What brought that on thought both had great seasons last year.

With all of y2s predictions of who will be going 106, I think the thing hes most excited about is that all these big guys dropping to 106 aren't freshmen so we won't have to crank up the suicide watch for all those 140lb freshmen who can't crack their teams varsity lineup. Theyll see upperclassmen at the 106 weight class and feel great about themselves.  Thank God fewer freshmen will be at 106 this year.  Thats the crowning achievement of the weight class change, right joe?

Does anyone know if Beech Grove has signed off on his eligibility? Three boys who wrestled for three different high schools, wow!

It will be interesting to see if people start attacking PM like they did Yorktown and Mishawaka in the past. With the new rules Daniels/Bennet have pushed through this will just keep happening more and more. Say goodbye to loyalty and hello to recruiting starting at the Jr./Sr. High school rather than college.

Kinny started at about 275lbs as a freshman and has been going south ever since and is currently is about 230lbs Bernard is currently 250lbs and getting bigger for football, and has always been a HWT through the years just his natural growth keep in mind he was a freshman last year...
