How Whitehead and Traviola (now with Big Ten Office) are not in Indiana Hall of fame is surprising.  Both good guys.

Whitehead for his size was one of the better athletes I have been around. Wrestled with him on Team Indiana Freestyle and

at 190lbs, he could run the 3 mile training run with all the lightweights, many of us who also ran track.

My husband Mike Faulkner who is now an IHSAA Wrestling Official was a four time All American in college. Two times at Grand Rapids Junior College and twice at Division II, Ferris State University. Mike was a heavyweight all four years.  At Grand Rapids he took 8th in the 1987-88 season, 4th in the 1988-89 season. While at Ferris State he took 8th at the 1990-91 season and 7th in the 1991-1992 season. Hope this helps you track down all of the Indiana wrestlers that were former college All-Americans!
