The camp in Indiana will be capped at 64 athletes.  8 weight classes with 8 wrestlers in each.

Wabash College runs a great technique/competition camp towards the begining of June. In the past couple of years, upwards of 150 wreslters have attened per year. The camp draws in a lot of awesome clinicians. Last years headliner was John Smith. The year before was the man, the legend, the God: Dan Gable. They have also had the likes of Reece Humphrey and Rulon Gardner. I think I hear Andrew Howe will be making a visit this year....

The Purler brothers have many great camps that emphasize technique and wrestling for a specific body type and they have camps that very affordable as well.  http://www.purlerwrestling.com/

Also the J Robinson camps are good camps to attend but they focus more on intensity and are very good camps for a great training mindset throughout the year.

The right camp really depends upon the wrestler and what they need to improve upon to reach their respective goals.

I'm curious about this statement.  Purler emphasizes technique for a particular body type?  What is it?

It will all depend upon your body type.  I have attended 3 purler camps and have had many other wrestlers attend them as well and the purler brothers are great about working worth the individual athletes and coming up with different techniques and strategies for wrestlers who dont fit the normal wrestling body stereotype. Their camps are are very personal and individualized, if the technique is not working for a certain wrestler then they will modify it for the wrestler or teach different technique entirely. They are concerned about individual success and realize that not all peoples body's are the same. They do an excellent job of finding a way to win for all athletes. I would recommend any of their camps to any wrestler in any skill level.

They also have a great beginners camp(this can range from just learning wrestling to not yet accomplishing success in the sport). They emphasize on foundation wrestling which may sound elementary but is not. They go over the foundation of success which ranges from positioning to technique to mental preparation as well as a vast array of moves.

I would highly recommend the Purler takedown machine wrestling camp for anyone who wants to improve on their feet.

The Purlers teach a whole system of wrestling and are very dedicated to creating outstanding wrestlers and young men.
