baguba07
103 Terriquez over Cook 112 Fiechhter over Thieme 119 Roe over Keuneke Roe dominates 125 Gerber over Batt they?ve wrestled too many times for Gerber not to get one 130 Wyatt over Ellinger Seems like a fairly weak weight 135 Sprunger over Melcher close match 140 Faurote handles Meska 145 Schultz over Burnfield rematch of last week in a clean match Schultz wins 152 Ehr over Schwartz I would not be surprised if Schwartz gets a win over Ehr this week or next 160 Mahlan over Luginbill in another close match 171 Hankenson by fall over Werst 189 Baker over Garringer from JV to sectional champ 215 Thatcher over Potter by fall 285 Myer over Morningstar by fall Wow Belmont 6 champs? Thats just how I see it playing out. 189 seems to be a tossup. 152 either of them can win. 135 not too sure about 130 strictly off records and schools. I would say Fiechter, Hankenson, Thatcher, Myer are pretty heavy favorites the rest we?ll see what happens Team- Belmont running away, close for 2nd and 3rd between SA and AC
AC Computer
Recovering from a broken hand really surprised he's not back! Cody planned to be back last weekend, but the doctor wouldn't release him until this Wednesday at the earliest. He'll find out at his appoinment and then must challenge if he's cleared to wrestle. towelboy08
What happened at 189? Anyone know how healed Faurote is, I saw he took 2nd in conference. He's had some bad luck each year it seems like, hopefully this doesn't hold him back. Busse was seeded second at Conference. they wrestled off after and ben baker filled 89 at conference. Y2CJ41
So what happens if Busse wins wrestle off's this week? Where would he be in the brackets? Busse would be inserted at the #6 seed and all the other seeds would move up one spot.
Boot
Do coaches ever use that as a tactic to move their guys to the opposite side of a bracket and help with the team points situation?

Living in Berne now I will be a homer and say Burnfield 152-Ehr walks away with the sectional title 160-HWT-- Bellmont walks away with it 189 is Bellmont wins either way but it will be closer if it is Baker wrestling and a win by pin if it is Busse
YorktownPatriot
It's been twenty years (maybe more) since I computed the team scores at the ECIC and Jay County Sectional, how exactly is the sectional scored these days.
AC Computer
It's been twenty years (maybe more) since I computed the team scores at the ECIC and Jay County Sectional, how exactly is the sectional scored these days. Rat tails score no points, win or lose. Winners of quarter finals score 3 points for guaranteed 6th place plus 2 points advancement (no double since rat tail matches didn't score) plus pin points (1 for major, 1.5 for tech fall, 2 for pin, default, dq, etc.) Consolation bracket round #1 score 3 for 6th place plus 1 for advancement plus pin points. Semi-finals score 9 for 2nd (difference between 12 for second and 3 for sixth) plus 2 advancement plus pin points. Consolation bracket round 2 scores 4 placement points (difference between 7 for 4th and 3 for 6th) plus 1 advancement plus pin points. Placement rounds, other than championship, scores 2 placement points plus pin points, no advancement. Championship scores 4 placement points plus pin. The difference between 1st & 2nd is 4 (16 - 12), 5th/6th and 3rd/4th is only 2 (9 -7 or 5 - 3). I write this in the score book each round and keep the team score for our team as the round progresses. AJ
140 - Meska will not lose to Faurote the way he has been wrestling If you are referring to the way Faurote is wrestling I agree... He has struggled wrestling with his healed hand. If he is not 100% then it is hard to see him beating Meska. Bellmont though has a history of pulling out improbable wins come tourny time so you never know. Either way it will be a great match.
