The NHC tournament will be broadcast live this weekend with help from the people of The Voice Enterprises. All the mats will be shown. I will be running a mat, and doing the Championship Round with Coach Mike Ester. Anyone interested in helping, please let me know that way we can have commentary going on each mat. The providers are also still looking for business sponsors for this event. Anyone interested please contact Scott Mentzer at the information provided below...Thanks.

from the looks of the brackets 171 and up bellmont will be favored tough to overcome those points for any team for carroll to win wrestle backs will have to heavily favor them

true, 89 is a toss up, not sure bellmont is "favored". 45 52 and 60 you could say carroll is "favored". I feel there will be either a bellmont or carroll guy or mabey both in the finals from 45 on up

Ben Baker beat Brad Busse twice this week in wrestloffs so he will be wrestling 189 for Bellmont on saturday.

Wow!!! What a crazy tough weight class for Bellmont. The number 8 wrestler in State can't even crack the varsity line up :o

The semi finals will be very interesting now! Raypole vs Baker in the semis rather than the finals...could be a decent point swing

Do you think they will drop Baker down to the four seed? I think his record is like 8-2, and Bellmont's 189s are 6-1 this year in the conference, with the #3 guy in the room losing by a point to the #1 seed.

This is a case of whether you are actually seeding it or whether you are just following the rules and you automatically bump the substitute to the lowest seed.

I don't know the answer-just a thought.

As Demoguy/Caliboy would say "no disresepct" but every year people think that "this is the year" Bellmont loses the NHC tournament and they NEVER do.  Wasn't it 5 years ago when Columbia City had studs up and down the lineup, they beat Bellmont in the dual and when tourney time came they went down like a cheap........, well you know what I mean.  Then New Haven was supposed to topple them and cowboy boot clad Barry and his mohawked boys folded like a cheap card table when the NHC came around.  Lately it's been Carroll and they  haven't been able to pull it off either.   This year will be the same outcome, Bellmont 1st and Carroll 2nd. Book it.

Yes im almost positive that is what happens. Because Busse had a #2 seed, and now with baker replacing him the #3 seed and #4 seed bump up and the replacement slides to a #4
