In my job I get to travel all over Indiana training kids for Naval Special Forces and watching lots of wrestlers every week. I have taken a few of my Navy Special Forces candidates into some of the practices and they are amazed at what wrestlers put themselves through. So far, this season is no exception. Early in the season, but kids throughout the state are getting after each other in matches and practice. Kids wrestling 30 second drills like those thirty seconds are for the state title...then, they get up...switch position... and go again.... How can anyone not love this sport?

 

From what I've seen so far, New Castle Semi-State is gonna be a sight to behold...

Just a heads-up - You have Nick Ulrey ranked in both 140 & 145.

 

Nick's good but I think the IHSAA frowns on wrestling in 2 weight classes.

 

Just maybe he could wrestle 140 and then throw on the mask to be the next NACHO LIBRE!.  No one would ever know.

At 189 Batesville's Gunter lost 2 times at South Dearborn, againt UC by pin and against Milan by decision, Milan's kid then pinned UC's  I believe Milans kids name was Cory Jewitt or something similiar.

At 130 I would think Cody House from Connersville, he is in the state ranking but not this one.... also 135 Cody Handley from Northeastern, don't know his record but do know he went to SS as a fresh last year, has atleast 1 loss this year, a dq, but still a loss.
