DD,

Thank for keeping up to date on both the college programs around the state and former Indiana HS wrestlers.  It great to have all of this information readily available to read over.  Wahoo to you.

No problem, I did the same thing with the the college baseball teams/programs on INHSBB.com. like 30+ schools in Indiana that offer baseball at the college level so a lot easier to update the handul of college wrestling programs we have in the state!

By making all the information so easy to access, Im hoping that some HS coaches/wrestlers that have the desire to wrestle at the college level will use the links to the sites to get the coaches information and recruit information. Everyone knows about IU & Purdue wrestling programs but hopefully coaches, wrestlers, fans will take interest in other programs like CCSJ, Indiana Tech, Manchester, Trine. Wrestlers that want to wrestle at the next level need to be proactive and contact college coaches, wrestlers need to be there own recruiter!

CHAMPS Champ of the Month:

IU's wrestling team was named the CHAMPS Champ of the Month after collected more than 500 cans for the Hoosiers' Student-Athlete Food Drive.

"Throughout Coach Goldman's tenure IU Wrestling has continuously given back to the Bloomington community, but they even outdid themselves during the Student-Athlete Food Drive," said IU Academic Advisor Mike Greene. "Going into the final day of the drive with the donation containers nearly empty, IU Wrestling brought over 500 cans as a team, which equates to around a twenty can average per wrestler. In all it was a great team effort and one that made a tremendous impact with the Bloomington community."

"I am very proud of the effort that our team put forward to help feed the local community," said head coach Duane Goldman. "They all worked hard to reach their goal and were very happy to be given the opportunity to brighten the holiday season for those in need."

The CHAMPS (Challenging Athletes' Minds for Personal Success) CHAMP of the Month is an outstanding student (or team) that has excelled in all of the five areas of CHAMPS: service, personal and career development, and academic and athletic excellence.
