emilyelizabeth2011
http://www.borderwarswrestling.com/userfiles/Peru2010flyer.pdf Border Wars Tournament on October 30th. Located at Peru High School, Peru, IN. Top 4 in each weight class and division will qualify for the Border Wars Folkstyle Nationals at Battle Creek, MI. My name is Emily Loe and my senior project is about the "Choking Game". Two close friends of mine have died from this so called "game". My goal is to bring awareness of the dangers of playing this stupid game. There will be a moment of silence at the beginning of the tournament to remember those who have died and/or been affected by the "game". I will be handing out literature and selling wristbands to help this cause. Donations will also be accepted. Thank you in advance for your help! Coach Duncan
Emily, Thanks for the PM you sent me, for whatever reason I could not reply back. I want to THANK YOU for what you are doing, and I will do whatever I can to assist you on your senior project. I know we had spoke about it briefly at the funeral. Zach's parents spoke to the student body and parents this past week, and Channel 6 news aired the story as well. They are doing whatever they can to get the message out; about the dangers of the "choking game". I also got word today that there is going to be a fundraiser for Zach at Idelwold Golf Course in Pendleton Oct.30th @ 10am, which is the same day as your tournament. I will spread the word and hopefully you will have good numbers attend. Unfortunately I will either be at the Super 32 or Pre-Season Nationals that weekend coaching....but hope your event and the golf outing is a success. Please let me know how I can purchase some of the wristbands. Thanks Emily! Coach Duncan
