ATTENTION!!!! New Qualifying procedures for Cadet/Junior Duals

The Junior Duals are at the same time as Disney Duals.  The Cadet Duals, though, are the week before, and the trip gets back before most schools will leave for Orlando.

Multiple wrestlers who qualified have asked about the possibility of attending the duals camp for the $200 with the understanding that they cannot go on the trip (usually because of Disney).  Cale and I (and others) have discussed this and we agreed that it would be okay.  They simply would not be included in the challenge tournament for a spot on a team, but we could do our best to accomodate them with competitive practices matches (as much as possible with time constraints).

REMINDER:  Deadline to respond to the Team Leader is May 22nd!

Wrestlers who earn a spot on the team or who are selected to go as alternates will have their camp fee applied as part of their trip cost.

 All wrestlers attending the camp must be willing and able to go on the trip, and pay the additional cost to cover part of the added expenses (bus, lodging, equipment, etc.)

 Wrestlers must weigh-in at the beginning of camp and declare possible weight classes.  At the end of the 2nd day, all wrestlers must declare their specific weight class for the challenge tournament(s).  Cadets will get a 3-pound allowance.  Juniors will get a 5-pound allowance.

 The format of the challenge tournament will be similar to the US World and Olympic Team Trials.  If the state champ stays at the same weight, he is automatically in the finals and must be beaten twice.  All other wrestlers at that weight will compete in a tournament to see who will face the state champ.

Wrestlers who have already qualified for this camp or other questions, please contact the team leader:
