Hickman wont get past Yamamoto, it will be Yamamoto and Overby in the finals.  And i wouldnt count out Weise winning 112, and i have never seen Preston wrestle but i bet Hanthorne gives him a run for his money.  And what odds will you give me on the first round upset of McTigue i dont see it happening.  And Green will get dominated at 152 either pinned or majored by Lynde.

Last year in the first round at regionals Preston beat Weise. It should be a dog fight for the finals if Weise remembers what happened.  Lynde will not break a sweat agianist Green. I also don't see McTigue getting upset, sorry

I see Weise and the McTaggarts representing BC well with 2 firsts and a third, I hope. Good luck guys!

Glad to see a couple more make it to semi-state this year than last.  Good luck kids.

I have to support the Delphi boys at Regionals.  The boys wrestling this Saturday were core members of a squad that dominated last year and shocked many with their successes both individually and as a team.  They mean business and work this sport like a job.  One should never under estimate their determined nature.  I believe they will all move on from Regionals not necessarily because of their wrestling skills alone, but their passion.  Skill and passion are a driving force for these young men.  I look forward to watching the seniors; Atwood (189), McTigue (130),  Delaney (171) and HWT Kenny Meyers, the Juniors of Dayton Rummell (160) and Roy Anderson (215) and Sophomores T. Lynde (152) and Chris Brown (112).  Good luck boys, stay focused as I look forward to watching you (together) in Merrillville.  Always, always, always wrestle to win.  Make your mark at Regionals this Saturday, and prove some of the "smack-talkers" on this site wrong.

I believe the prediction at 103 could possibly be a little off but who knows

103: 1st=Overby-Harr

          2nd=Yamamota-Jeff

        3rd=Hickman-Ren

        4th=Tribbett-TL

I don't see Yamamota Lafayette Jeff getting past Herrera from South Newton but that is just my prediction.  Herrera is a tough young individual with a lot of skill and strength for a 103 pounder.

In a hurry my butt, it is just that great Benton Central education.....lol

That's funny. ;D ;D Benton Central has a great educational program just a bunch of unmotivated kids. that's all I promise. Isn't this a wrestling forumn site. becuase we could argue about poor school systems all day

the logan 125 kid is baldini and i think that he will be placed higher than 4th also @ 171 nethercutt (pio) will place in the top for somewhere he is a tough wrestler and has alot of heart. Dix(win) will place higher than 3rd dix is a big boy and he is very strong i think if his head is in the game he can beat mukai(seeg). @ 145 wagoner(pio) should be a top 4 wrestler i know he is a very lazy kid in the wrestling room and only wrestles hard when he chooses but his loss to sigman(TL) was a fluke wagoner did not wrestle had at all he beat the kid numerous of times his past 3 yrs wrestling. Johnson(pio) should place top 4 also last week a sectionals he did wrestle up to his potential he missed the whole week before due to heart problems but if he is feeling better this week then e should be going to the semi-state. Dorris(pio) i have nothing against this kid but he is the kid i think that this year thinking that he was a hot shot and could beat anyone he stepped out on the mat with but it got proven when he lost the kid is good but he is big headed and if he goes into this weekend thinking that he the best of the best he is going to get beat.

I think its safe to say that Vhlahos, Atwood and Lynde will all be Regional Champs. Bell had 2 tough matches to get to the finals. Michschi (Jeff) took Bell to overtime in the first match and Winkle wrestled Bell extremely tough today too.

I saw some very dominating performances today.  Don't have all the details but Lynde, Atwood, Bell, Vlahos all looked really good all day long with ass kicking matches,  Preston from Logansport took a short nap in finals but woke up late and pinned his guy in finals.
