GATORSDAD Posted September 16, 2009 Share Posted September 16, 2009 Valpo hires Johnson as coach Valparaiso High School product Mark Johnson was officially hired as the Vikings' wrestling coach Tuesday. Johnson wrestled four years at Valpo before going to Butler, from where he graduated in 1988. He was an assistant coach at Griffith from 1994 to 1996 and served in the capacity at Valpo in 1997 and 1998. Johnson headed Valpo's middle school wrestling program from 2004 to 2006.
