NickS
I put these #'s together from combining all the grade levels. I'm pretty sure that the # of entrants is off a little. For example, Collin Palmer from Ohio is listed as signed up although he didn't actually compete. Indiana did well finishing 10th overall. What else I find interesting is that no state finished ahead of Indiana that had fewer entrants. Y2CJ41
Just to clarify, the team points are based off the best wrestler at that weight if there is more than one wrestler. For instance, at Junior 152lbs, we had Sean McMurray, Nick Parnell, and Sammy Bennett, but our only wrestler that scored points for the team was McMurray. CoachRyan_Delta
So since we had so few entrants and did rather well, if we classed these statistics, would we be national champions of our class?
TripleB
Thanks for the info and results. Nice to see how well we done.
Trinedad
So since we had so few entrants and did rather well, if we classed these statistics, would we be national champions of our class? 2592 participants 47 states represented 2592/ 47 = 55.14 per state. Since you cant have .14 kids, we will say the large class would be 56, and the small class would be 55 and under, so we would have been 3rd in our class. On the podium, but not champs. Well, i say we find a way to get that .14 kid out there to make things fair!!
