how is losing by 9 pts coming within one match?

If you would have pin a kid that pin you in the match (6 less for them 6 more for you =12 point swing) or teched a kid that teched you (5 less or them 5 more for you=10 point swing).  Thats about the only way 9pt difference could be called within one match.

I am not seeing anything in the Courier Journal this morning or on their website.  I am not sure how Gossip Queen would know that the whole athletic department is being shutdown due to a shooting that may have occurred on school grounds.

i think that bailey will win at 152 and smith at 112. They both wrestled well last weekend at the HHC tourney

Definite edge has to go to Jeff. However, there are many quality kids in the sectional and seeding position can effect the outcome. I believe Jeff is likely to have 8-10 kids in the finals, just like HHC, but I believe Floyd could have 6-7 instead of only 4 that they had at HHC. We'll have to wait for the seedings to really get a good idea of how things may pan out.
