I've never seen Bryce Schendel wrestle before and I'm not taking anything away from him, however I seen the Corpe wrestle 145lbs at the Chesterton Duals this season.  In my humble opinion I see him on the podium at whatever weight he chooses.

Schendel was up four points, not including the three back points he would have received.  Corpe was up by three points going into the second period, Schendel was up one point going into the third period and had choice.

Wow...sounds like it was a heck of match and a good one possibly coming up.  Sounds like Bryce has paid his dues, good hard wrestling to both men going forward!

It was a great match, email me and I can possibly hook you up with a link to the video.  From the sounds of it though, they won't be meeting this year.  Corpe was at 152 last night and word on the street in G-town is Mr. Schendel is at 135lbs again.

How often are these rankings going to be updated?  Will it be as often as the overall rankings?

As often as I deem they need updated, most likely weekly.  This weekend I'll see more kids and their weights, so they will be updated some.

Gonzales beat Randle last week and Barquillo last year at SS.
Just FYI!  ;)

Its tough to rank Gonzales, Randle and Jackson since they all beat eachother.  Jackson beat Gonzales pretty handily, for a 5-0 match, that is why he is the lowest of the three.  It was definitely a barnburner at 112 last weekend!

Good deal.  And yes, it was a deathmatch on Saturday at 112.  You guys looked good!

If Kenney gets down to 112, there will be 5 really really really good wrestlers fighting for 4 spots... not to mention the Jay Regional would be interesting at 112.   :o

Thanks, we have a long way to go though, tough conference match tonight.  The Jay County regional was interesting last year at 103, it just moved to 112 this year!  Someone from that regional will be a tough 4th place finisher that could upset a #1 from another regional.

Good point.  Same thing could even happen at state depending on who the Fort Wayne number 4 draws... I could see anyone one of those kids possibly beating a SS champ!

They picked a great year to take top 4 from regional.

He has yet to make 135lbs.  He's telling everyone thats where he wants to be, but until he wrestles there I can't put him at that weight.

Didn't Garrett beat Peru last weekend?  If so, then shouldn't Garrett be ranked in the Team top 8?

I think we might have, I'll have to look at the results again.  I'm waiting for a few more team's results and line-ups before i shift the team rankings.

112 is going to be interesting.  That Jay County regional is stacked, if they all go 112.

Yes Garrett beat Peru but South Adams just beat Garrett             So should SA be ranked

Not necessarily.  All thats been proved is that Peru probably should not be ranked at this time.

It depends on how Y2 is ranking them.  Is it the top dual meet teams or top tourny teams.  I also think that the top 3 are well above everyone else in both aspects.  Looking at the rankings and some early results, I would not have an issue with SA and Garrett being ranked.  I think Jay County and Whitko will warrent some attention in the rankings real soon as well.
