Cook looked for the crossface cradle for most of the 2nd and eventually got the backpoints. 5-0 Cook, but he controlled the match. That cradle is ungodly

Not making excuses, but my wife called me from New Castle and said that they think Duckworth was injured in some way during the Grimes match.  Not verified and certainly not making any excuse, but that is the word.

10-4. Was tied 3-3 entering the 3rd. Grimes was just a hair quicker and Duckworth looked a little banged up late in the match. Not a fluke, though. Grimes was outstanding

Does anyone have individual scores of each match?  I have a personal interest in 152 and 189.  Appreciate all the work though!!!

Hodges won 4-3. He and MJJ both were tough to score on and had some fantastic scrambles. Hodges got a late escape to win. Apparently, Hodges hurt his ribs in the 2nd round of regionals and has been hurting all day. Great match.MJJ has really improved-- their SS match last yr wasnt close and this year he had a legit shot at winning at the end

Heres what I saw before I left
103: Phillips over McKinley...phillips just too strong on his feet
Todd over Harvy, Todd gave up 3 points all of which came on cautions
112: Kiefer over Nelson...Kiefer looked good
Mullins over? Mullins won easily
119: Wright over Eppert...Eppert started the match strong..was in  repeatidly on wright, but wright was too much in the third period
Kiefer won by fall i believe over duncan of BG

Thats all i saw....as for the Duckworth match, he just didnt wrestle the same match that his normally does. he was not aggressive at all, not sure what the deal was.....feel bad for whoever he has to wrestle though.....not taking anything away from grimes either....he looked solid...i think a different outcome at state though
