Hundreds more...every time I ref or judge an event...I see guys that I reffed on the HS wrestling mat over the last eighteen years.  I believe that wrestlers will be the backbone of the sport in the near future.

Did Stephon Bonnor actually wrestle?  I thought some of the talk on the old board was that he did not.
It ain't the six minutes... it's what happens in that six minutes.

I think he wrestled but he wasn't very good. Noone mentioned Jose Escabedo and by the way Elkins just beat Jeff Currans cousin or nephew

I have judged Nicola before.  He is an excellent fighter.

Bonner did wrestle a little in high school.  I talked to a good friend of his that wrestled with him in HS.  I guess he was an average competitor.

Jake O'Brien

I am sure we could all post tons of past wrestlers who are currently fighting somewhere, but Jake is one who is really making a name for himself.

Edit:  My fault, I see Jake's name was already mentioned earlier.

i happened to notice at the ncaa wrestling hall of fame site that cain velasquez, the guy that o'brien lost to a while back, lost the 3rd/4th place match, 9-1 to indiana's own greg wagner who wrestled for michigan.

The Woods are big fans of Jake O'Brien.  I would like to see him stay healthy and make another run at a title.  Anybody ever get to watch Yancy Gradeless fight?  He went to Mish or Penn.  He used to referee too.  He was just getting comfortable giving the BS back to the coaches and decided to crawl inside the cage  :o
