Unfortunately Madison County middle schoolers have to decide whether to wrestle in their county meet or iswa folkstyle state this year. This will include but is certainly not limited to Carrol and Lecount. Years past the iswa meet was always the weekend following the county meet.

The post is for middle school state which is on a Sunday.  They can still win middle school state.  You are saying that they will miss the state folkstyle tourney?  If so, that is a shame.

Remember that at ISWA Folkstyle State,  Schoolboys wrestle on Sunday not Saturday.  The middle school wrestlers would weigh-in at their regional site on the Thursday prior to the tournament and then check in Saturday night up in Huntington.  The only middle school wrestlers that are affected this year are the middle school wrestlers that are Cadets.

At Middle School State the wrestlers can weigh up to 107 for the 102lb weight class, but for the Middle School National Duals in Illinois the wrestlers have to weigh 102lbs.

Thank-you, I did not  realize schoolboy was Sun. I'll pass it on to my wrestlers.

I see from the registered wrestlers that the 75 lb weighclass is loaded with some young wrestlers that have had a lot of success in the ISWA meets

Bailey Lahue
Drew Hughes
Jacob Cottey
Jake Sinkovics
Kayla Miracle

should be a real battle at that weight

102 Has got a lot of kids I think  no one is just going to go out there a win with no problem, personally thinks it is going to be an all out dog fight the whole way through the bracket for those kids.

My pick at 75 is goin to be Lahue. He has really turned things up this year. He will be hard to beat.  That weight is goin to be fun to watch.
