Mitch Sliga Fundraiser Clinic

The purpose of the clinic is to help Mitch raise money to represent the United States at the FILA Cadet World Championships being held in Azerbaijan in August.

Wrestlers who attend the clinic will benefit from learning techniques from a young man who has had incredible success in all styles and at all age groups.  Mitch will be demonstrating strategies and techniques that he uses along with new techniques he has learned from USAWrestling’s coaches at the Olympic Training Center.

About Mitch:
Mitch Sliga will be a senior next year at Fishers High School.  He has won a total of 13 USAW national championships that include 7 as a youth wrestler, 5 as a Cadet, and his most recent as a FILA Cadet that qualified him to represent the US at the Worlds.  In Indiana, Mitch has won 24 ISWA state championships in Folkstyle, Freestyle, and Greco.  So far in his high school career, Mitch placed 3rd at the IHSAA state his freshman and sophomore years before winning the state championship at 195 pounds this past season.

10:00 am – 12:00 noon
Elementary School (K-6)
The focus will be on Folkstyle techniques

1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Middle & High School (6-12)
The focus will be on both Folkstyle and Freestyle Techniques

Both sessions will be lead by Mitch with the assistance of coaches from CIA and Fishers High School.
*All wrestlers should have at least 1 season of wrestling experience (school or club).

Those who pre-register by July 21 will receive a free clinic t-shirt.  Additional shirts will be for sale.
Registration will also be accepted at the door starting 1 hour before each session.

Clinic Fee:  $50 donation per session
Please make checks payable to Fishers Wrestling Club and write “Mitch” on the check’s memo line.
Those who register online will bring your donation to check-in before your session.

Time is running out to pre-register by July 21st for Mitch's fundraiser clinic.
