Joe Gallegos (South Bend Clay) signed a letter of intent with Cumberland University in Tennesee.  Gallegos was a 2012 IHSAA State-runner-up at 220 lbs.  Joe was a 3-time state finalist, 2012 semi-state champion.  Gallegos had a 142-28 career record with the colonials.  Joe broke many school records- most pins in a season 34, most wins in a season 45 and best record at 220 pounds in school history 45-3.

Anyone who has met Joe knows what a great young man he is.  As a coach I am very happy and excited for him to keep his wrestling career going at the next level.
