Not sure who the most improved was, but Schuyler Phillips of Yorktown was impressive at the Preseason Open.

The kid from Jimtown Lawrence will be up there JV last year he will atleast be a SS qual. if not state. I know Damon has been the most improved I have seen. Thats what happens when you have great coaches:)

Perrys Naughton and Winfield will be at Conseco as well Winfield was JV lastyear. Most the season. Also Dyrek Chowning and Larry Carter should be there as well for Warren.

This might be my complete loyalty to Jimtown kicking in, but I agree a lot.

Tough to go from JV to Conseco.  Not saying impossible.  Just don't put the cart before the horse.

Sampson Cook and Logan Cooper from Perry both were  JV and ended the year at Conseco. But as you said smooth, its not very common.

When you wrestle with Tommy every day.  You either get better or go home!
Hopefully they both will make it to State as Freshman.

The only person from Jimtown that I know of to do so was Shaun Barnett. From what I have heard, he was JV freshman and sophomore year, state qualifier junior year, and state runner-up senior year.

I'll pick my most improved wrestler after about 20 matches or so.
