State runner-up Petrov looks to make next step
« on: December 15, 2010, 05:35:52 PM »
CEDAR LAKE | Paul Petrov is nearing his magic number: 100.

With a career prep wrestling record of 97-9 and the Carnahan Invitational this weekend, triple-digits for Petrov will likely come before Christmas. But don't expect any added holiday celebrations.

"I don't pay much attention to stuff like that," said the Hanover Central junior, who is undefeated in 11 matches this season as a 112-pounder. "I'm more concerned about preparing myself to get better."
