A 4 sec. pin just seems highly improbable to me. Don't you have to have both shoulders on the mat for 2 sec. for a pin? That leaves 2 sec. to put him on his back.  I'm thinking either a quick fall call by the ref or the clock was slow to start.  Hopefully it was the later cause I see alot of quick pins by refs in recent years.

I called the Conner Lefever pin.  I blew the whistle, Lefever took his opponent straight to his back, as soon as I hit the mat and started my nearfall count he was flat on his back.  one-two pin

If the clock was slow to start it wasn't by more than a second because it happened as fast as I could get down and get a two count.

I'll never forget the look on coach Paul Voigt's face, who missed the match.  He was just sitting down in his chair as the wrestlers were walking off the mat.  He looked at me like "wuh wuh ha-happened?"

Phil Whitlock's fall at the Pioneer Super Six vs Twin Lakes on January 8 was :04.  Bear hug straight to flat.  Official score keeper and timer both have :04.
