Any idea or rumors who will take over? Nice team to be getting with Forte, Sinkovics, and Macri coming back. I apologize if this is the wrong place on the site to ask this.

Did I hear correctly? Hasseman resigned at Mishawaka and is going to be an assistant at University of Buffalo

Looks to be the case.

Please publish what weight classes have openings, or are moving to lower finishers, as there have been transparency issues in the past when the top 2 have opted out.

IMO, I think the only ones here most likely to be at 113# will be Hudkins and Pepple. No way for Sinkovics he's been 130+, and Red will have trouble staying at 113 and IMO could win it at 120# unless Micic is there, which I also doubt. McCormick looks very big now as well for 113#.

Micic is at 119, down from 123-125 walking around weight, this weekend at FILA and IMO wins it in that group. So I think he'd be a very safe bet at 126 this year.
It depends on how much Sinkovics is willing to cut. Down at state a kid from Mishawaka said he was 125-130 going into the season and made it to 106.  Probably NO way he can make 106, but 113 might be possibly in range.
And you're right about Red and McCormick. They will probably hit the freshman-sophomore year growth spurt that seems to be the most common time to hit one in high school.

The entire Whitko Wrestling program would like to send our condolences!

Even though we were competing against Cody, we always had great respect for him as he was a tough competitor and an even better young man.

Sympathies from the Whitko Wrestling program
