We took 10 kids from the club to FILA Cadets this weekend and came back with 2 AA's. Mitch Sliga won the 85 KG bracket and has earned the right to represent Team USA at the World Championships in Baku, Azerbaijan in August. Wes Bernard finished 5th place at 125 KG. We had a few guys at 63 KG come close to a top 6 finish. All 10 kids wrestled hard and competed well, and we are especially happy for Mitch.... Good for you Sliga!
Reminder there are no workouts today. Workouts will resume like normal tomorrow, and we will move Sunday's high school workouts from today to Tuesday night for this week.
