160. Castle takes 2.
132 they have a good shot at 2
106 Castle could take 2 also - Lutz from Priceton is a quality wrestler people seem to over look
285 is anyone's guess.  Heavy weights are Always A toss up.

If anyone is over looking Heritage Hills or Boonville wrestlers, they may find themselves in the stands at the Ford Center on the following Saturday.    I am also betting the upper weights may just surprise some of the Evansville Sectional faithful.   Not saying they will be champions, but the Castle sectional may bring a bit more " new talent" people have not seen or heard much about.

Just saying.

I think there could be some suprises that people may not be counting on.  You never know which wrestlers are gonna show up. But my years of being around wrestling has taught me several things. nothing is for sure and never over look anybody that puts on a pair of wrestling shoes or it could come back to bite you and finally nothing is a for sure thing in life. Good luck to all.

Central Sectional will get through 2 @ 106, 4 @ 113, 3 @ 120, 4 @ 126, 2 @ 132, 3 @ 138, 4 @ 145, 2 @ 152, 2 @ 160 and 2 @ 170. After that its 50/50. Several weight classes are as deep and talented as I have seen in a long time. Great job to those coaches and kids.

Evansville sectional should dominate, but a lot of tough individuals from the other sectional will definately affect the outcome.

Don't bet on 4 at 126 from central. There could be a surprise there I think.

I would agree.  I don't see 4 there, but less than 3 would be a surprise.

Everyone is over looking some very strong wreslters from the Castle Sectional Baehl at 133 from G.S., Coomer at 126 from Boonville ( tough kid a senior on a mission), Allen at 132 from Boonville have seen him wrestle since he was little and he is going to suprise some kids, Mcdainels at 138 from Boonville if he is fousced he can beat anyone. Patrick Schnell from castle is a strong freshman and could do well.

I'm sorry, but Schnell will not beat Hoehn at 138 and I'm afraid Allen will see his season end against Oakley from Evansville Central.  I haven't seen McDaniels or Frymire wrestle and don't know any of their results against kids I have seen, so that one I have no clue on.

I believe McDaniels will win in a close one. But i could see Frymire win it just with that Senior Strength he will have over the inexperienced freshman. Can we get a top 4 predictions?

Champions

106 Brown-Castle (Has Kuhns number)
113 Davis-Reitz (This is a tough weight class top to bottom but Davis has beat everyone except Mastison but has come so close. I think Davis will get it done)
120 Welch-Castle (Real deal)
126 Wedding-Memorial (Vanhook would win if he had two arms gave Wedding trouble with one arm)
132 Moody-Reitz (Controls everyone)
138 Lannert-Mater Dei (Tough weight class but he is the best)
145 Hayhurst-Memorial (Flip a coin on this one)
152 Rueger-Reitz (Tougher matches to come but still dominate)
160 Oser-Heritage Hills (Great matches all day in this weight)
170 King-Reitz (On a mission Senior Year)
182 Brandenstein-Mater Dei (Heritage Hills Konerding could upset)
195 Maurer-Mater Dei (Princetons Halbig has something to say about that)
220 Beohm-Heritage Hills (Reitz's Schnarr looked bad and will not beat Boehm if he wrestles like that here)
285 Wright-Mater Dei (Princetons Breen will either pin or be pinned in final)

I am seriously beginning to wonder if you have ever even seen a picture of an actual wrestling match. Much less a match live and in person.

So because he's saying that 2 state qualifiers are going to win their first round match at regionals, he's never seen a wrestling match?

Easy there Tiger.  No need to start throwing insults around, especially if my predictions come true.  Obviously you don't think they will, but they just might.  I just believe with Hoehn being a Sr. and former state qualifier he will beat the freshman.  I know Schnell is good, but I believe Hoehn has the edge.  I also feel like Oakley will beat Allen and yes, I have seen both wrestle.  I have seen them live and in person several times and I believe Oakley wins.  Just my opinion and I may be wrong.  You can brag all  you want next week if you are right, but I would hold off on the insults for now.
