Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider worked for me.  Not sure if some of the fans nor wrestlers of today's time would recognize that song though.  Great song, especially if you listen to the words.  Only the Young is another good one off the Vision Quest Soundtrack.

Barbara Striesand singing "People", or maybe Frank Sinatra singing "My Way".  After I typed that I realized that might ruffled some feathers with USA Wrestling, but Hobbs would like it.

I know a year or two back that Ohio or Illinois had a really slick highlight video that displayed during their tournament.  The start of it had more to do with the history of the state with older video clips, had several highlight from old state finals set to music with some quotes and video interviews from some past multi-time champions mixed in.  It would be awsome if someone had the time to put together a video which Conseco would let us down in segments (maybe 5 min) before each new round of the state.   It would definitely add something to the experience and hype up the crowd.

I did like it a few years ago when they were playing the Outkast song Hey Ya when Chico and Cosgrove were having fun warming up.....Remember when Chico was doing the Cabbage Patch around Coach Tonte?

Going to see George Clinton and the P-Funk All Stars at the Horseshoe Casino in Hammand Friday 9/30, and getting up the next day at I'm guessisg noon, lol to catch the Cathedral vs Snider game @ 3:30. "Aint No Party Like a P-Funk Party Cause A P-Funk Party Don't Stop"  How's that for a weekend ? Bootszilla would be to much for this ole man to handle in one night!!!

I usually would never post on here but I like this topic, I'd have to say Saturday Night Is Alright For Fighting by Elton John. The title says it all!

I think the best 2 songs that have ever been sung at the state faceoff of the 28 young
men in the finals were:    ' ONE MOMENT IN TIME' and the other one was 'THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM'
Both of these songs were about the moment and back in 1995 I wrote 2 or 3 letters  to
then Commissioner Robert Gardner, to no avail.  If you are an oldtimer like me you would
remember and appreciate how beautiful it made the ceremony.
