I see that IU signed Adam Chalfant...I will be very interested to see  how he develops....with Degain and Everhart working with him his future looks very bright.

He could be a great commit as long as he keeps his grades up. Didn't he do really well at an open event recently after taking a year off?

Chalfant wrestled for Harper College last season.  He compiled a 24-2 record and finished 3rd at the 2011 JUCO National Championships.....one of his losses was a 1 point loss to recent Oregon State transfer Tyrell Fortune.

Sidenote ... Michael Johnson placed at 184 and D'Marcus Spencer and Brandon Wright at 133.

It was MSU I was thinking of. So this is his Junior year then, correct? 1 year of football, 1 of JUCO, and now 2 at IU.

Im not sure his clock ever started for football.  I remember looking for him on the Western Kentucky roster and never seeing his name.  He might have 3 left.

That is correct. I was in Bloomington last weekend and spoke personally with the IU staff. Adam will be eligible to wrestle (and will wrestle) for IU the 2nd semester.
