Just a little extra info on the Hobart job

Middle school record in duals 64-0 in the last 5 years

Hobart Wrestling Club is one of the longest and largest running (78’) non academy clubs with typically 50-60 wrestlers and several state placers at the ISWA levels. As well as wrestlers Training with RWA,Elite, and Bulldog Elite

Hobart Wrestling Club also acts as a booster for ALL of Hobart wrestling. This year a beautiful new mat was purchased...new singlets.  HwC hosts 2 open tournaments drawing a combined 800 wrestlers plus Golf outings and other fundraising events.

The Hs is less than 10 years...old great wrestling room, fieldhouse, and gymnasium...already expanding weight and cardio rooms and building a new pool.

New Athletic Director that seems to really have his eyes on what the program could be.  Former wrestler and CP coach Jake Rodriguez as an Assistant Pricipal which is nice to have understanding people in the Administration.

RTC host as well as IHSAA regionals host..To go along with a great tradition...and community support...could be a great job for someone who wants to pump some new energy into this program and take it up to yet another level!!

we have some young hungry Brickies coming up !!

Seems like you couldn't ask for a much better situation to walk into as a coach

Head Coach Troy Bell at Heritage Hills has resigned, moving back to NC. Good opportunity for a motivated coach. We finished 22-11 last year with 11 returning starters, 7 regional qualifiers and 4 semi state qualifiers returning.

Columbus North welcomes Matt Joyce as the new head coach!

Coach Joyce wrestled 2 years at Manchester University, was an assistant coach at Greenfield where he had the opportunity to coach a few state qualifiers/placers, and was most recently the head coach at Western Boone where he was working on building the program.

I would just like to add being a life long Heritage Hills supporter, with Coach Bell resigning I think Indiana is going to miss out on a quality Kid.  Devon Bell, Coach Bell's son would of been a freshman at HH next year and is a top quality wrestler.  Placing twice at USA Nationals, winning Adidas Nationals, ISWA runner up, was on our Indiana Schoolboy national team, been wrestling on the National Level for years. Going to miss watching him in a HH singlet, good luck Devon and Coach Bell.

They are relocating back to NC. His dad was a coach for the Marine Corps team and I guess felt with the recent success their team is having  wanted him in the Marine Corps room. They had 11 AA at the US Open and a National champ.   His dad served 26 years in the Corps so relocating back to that area.
