1A Team State Qualification Scores (unofficial through sectional)

Here are unofficial 1A Team State Qualification scores through sectional. They remain unofficial because Evansville semi-state teams haven't gone through a full cross-check and because we are trying to get the facts about Indianapolis Public School consolidation plans for next year that could affect the classification of a couple teams.

Remember from previous years that 1A scores are very significant already at this stage. All of the contenders for one of the 10 automatic bids already have good scores at this point and no one will score large amounts of points from here on out.

I guess I should have clarified that I do not have a law degree or any type of Doctorate.  That is seriously confusing.  But I appreciate the information.

If you can re-calculate your score accurately and show your written work,  I think you should submit it and get a reward like a Indianamat bumper sticker.

I think you see the two scoring charts--one for underclassmen and one for seniors. Give yourself the number of points each underclassman or senior should have based on how far they've advanced. Then give yourself an 11-point bonus for having nearly a full lineup. That's the general idea.

Which is the biggest flaw in the system, very few actually know how it works and casual fans have little chance at grasping it.... But it's the best we have.
