Yet another head scratching move by the ihsaa.  Wood memorial finished last in the central sectional.  They are being moved to castle in exchange for reitz.

Sorry we're bringing the sectional down. For what it's worth, we didn't ask to be moved.

I don't think anyone if point to one team or another as being a cause, Look at what the IHSAA has done to the Jeffersonville Sectional as well as those in our area.

I for one can just guess the powers that be have no clue where some of the schools south of Bloomington actually are on a map.

Castle’s 120 Hunt, rumor has it, was not disciplined during the 5+ snow days in a row and was over weight last Friday after practice  to the point of no return for the SIAC. Seeing him active this week tells me he is ready to make 122 come Saturday.

predictions from boonville's "Statistician"

106- Sam Scott (Heritage Hills)

113-  Casebolt (Castle)

120- Toss up

126- Willis (Castle)

132- Hartz (Castle) or Fulks (Boonville)

138- Kincaid (castle

145- Freeman (Castle)

152- Deters (Castle)

160- Hartz (Castle)

170- Sitzman (Harrison)

182- Nunn (Castle)

195- Rolley(Castle)

220- Lichlyter (memorial)

285- Olsen (Memorial)/ Weeks (Boonville)/Lofton (Castle)

Just noticed #1 seed at 285 not even picked to finish top three, bold pick considering Rea from HH is pushing 40 wins and has a win over Pike Central's Goff, and won the Jeffersonville Classic. See at 170 you have number 3 seed, bold picks.

Weeks (Boonville) was manhandled by Rea (Heritage Hills) 14-0 score, a pure beat down.

Casebolt vs Sutton match up was an exciting finals, Casebolt showed the composure that comes from a lot of mat time, winning I believe his third sectional title.

Fulks ( Boonville) came to wrestle winning over Hartz (Castle) for the title.

Scott (Heritage Hills) dominated the field at 106

Wilis (Castle) is wrestling well looking to make a run for his final shot at Bankers life.

Bell (Heritage Hills)  vs Graber ( Washington) was a tight one in consolation finals with a lot of key scrambles, Bell coming out on top 6-5.

Castle wins team title, while Memorial, Boonville and Heritage Hills separated by 8 points.

Hats off to Memorial, Boonville, and Heritage Hills...2-4 all within 10 or so points in the team race.   Memorial edging Boonville in the very last match of the day to take second!

Blue bolt- how about your knights busting out the robes?  How long were they in storage?

Team scores had Memorial 171.0, Boonville 168.5, Heritage Hills 163.5.

Last match of the day finals at 285 had HH vs Memorial. Memorial wins in OT, if it goes HH way than take away 4 points from memorial add it two HH for a first place finish and you have Boonville second with 168.5, HH with 167.5, memorial with 167.0.  That is as close as you can get, quality wrestling all the way around.
