Perseverance
Shenandoah wins Team title by a landslide. 9 in the finals and finish with 6 Champions. -Champs- 120-Blake Alfrey (junior) 132-Justin Hummel (freshman) 138-Dallas Pugsly (junior) 145-#8 Hayden Lohrey (junior) 182-#3 Silas Allred (sophomore) 220-Colton Walls (junior) -Runner Up- 126-Gavin Ricard (freshman) 170-Jake Webster (junior) 195-Coleson White (sophmore) Addmittedly.....competition was far from elite for many of our top tier guys. However....definitely a nice accomplishment collectively for our 1st year in conference. Especially for some of the younger talent looking to build confidence/momentum for State Series. Congratulations to the Champs and place winners from the other teams as well! Definitely were a handful of solid kids that can fly under the radar and ruin someone's day if overlooked in their perspective Sectional/Regional. They have a very strong team not just that though those boys all have very good sportsmanship great job to the coach and parents! Good Job today on your big win very well deserved! AJ
Anyone know the full story to why Daleville pulled their kids out of the tournament and went home??? Heard it was concerning a weight issue but dont have full story
wrestleliferfan
I heard it was because they had a girl who wrestled state yesterday and the coach demanded a 4 lb allowance. Even though 6 wrestlers made weight the coach took them all home.
