SWINfan
Available on BTN+ ($9.95 team subscription or $14.95 all teams) or FloWrestling (subscription required) Lots of IN kids should go tonight. Likely from Purdue - Luke Welch #12 @ 125, Dylan Lydy #12 @174, Kobe Woods @ 197 & Shawn Streck @ 285. The meet also features the first appearance at home for Nick Lee, who came out of redshirt status last weekend and enters the rankings this week at #7 on Intermat and #8 on Flo. Nick is 16-3 on the year including his unattached schedule. He has scored bonus points in all but one win. He'll face Nate Limmex who defeated Chad Red last week. I know comparative scores aren't reliable, but you can bet many will be watching to see how Nick does against him. Below is an article from a PA paper on Nick with quotes from Greg Schaefer and Matt Coughlin. It's a nice piece with only one error in the year he won State in IN. SWINfan
Penn St 125's are both sick and their 3rd, which just oined the team is not yet certified, so PSU FFs 125 to Luke Welch. I think they were just skeered! Purdue 6 -
SWINfan
Lineups:125: PSU forfeit vs. #12 Luke Welch133: Corey Keener vs. Ben Thornton141: #7 Nick Lee vs. Nate Limmex149: #1 ZPain vs. Austin Nash157: #1 Jason Nolf vs. Cole Wysocki165: #1 Vincenzo Joseph vs. Jaco Morrissey174: #2 Mark Hall vs. #12 Dylan Lydy184: #1 Bo Nickal vs. Max Lyon197: #10 Shakur Rasheed vs. Kobe Woods285: #8 Nick Nevills vs. #15 Shawn Streck 285 should be interesting. Nevills finished 4th at the Southern Scuffle and was dominated by Michigan's Adam Coon. PSU fans have complained he hasn't been as active/aggressive recently. Could be a nice win for Streck if he can pull it off.
SWINfan
Keener dec Thornton 3-2 - lots of shots by Thornton but couldn't finsh. Lee with a MD over Limmex, 13-4. Lee won every scramble and fended off Limmex shots, two where he got in on a single leg but couldn't finish. Nice performance by Nick in his Rec Hall debut. Check that, Lee wins 14-4. I missed a late stall point on Limmex. Edited January 20, 2018 by SWINfan

Shakur Rasheed wins by Fall over Kobe Woods 1:42. Rasheed is PSU's 3rd wrestler at 197 this year and may end up being their best.

Thor
That’s brutal, but not surprising. Purdue has some good to very good wrestlers but penn State is just on another level

Purdue has some good to very good wrestlers but penn State is just on another level Agreed..Purdue will get a very nice handful to NCAAs this year. But PSU has 5 champs and 3 more ranked Top 10. Even Ohio St, who are loaded to the gills and are the slight tournament favorite, probably can't win a dual against that lineup.
