Mid-State Conference

This tournament is always a fun one with some good teams that all used to feed into the Mooresville Sectional. With the switch up, only Plainfield is in the Avon Sectional, everybody else is still at Mooresville. It may be a really good preview of who will make a deep tournament run next month with several top contenders. As an added plus, it seems very wide open this year. Franklin has won several in a row and are likely still the favorites to win it this year, but I believe 6 of the 7 teams all have at least one top seeded wrestler. I'm a little out of the loop this year on some of the best in the conference, but what are others' thoughts? Any surprises to watch out for? Who wins each weight? What team has a shot of toppling Franklin from their throne?

Well we had no predictions, but Mooresville breaks Franklin’s streak, Plainfield finishes as runner ups, Franklin and Martinsville ties for 3rd.

Great job by the Pioneers to get their first title in 10 years. Way to seize the opportunity! Challenge gets much stiffer next winter as Perry Meridian joins the fold. Would love to see the whole conference step up their game to compete with Perry in the future.

Is Perry Meridian leaving Conference Indiana and moving to the Mid State?
