maligned
Kayla Miracle is at the U23 world championships today. This division has replaced what was formerly "university" globally. Many nations have their senior-level #1's in their lineups if they're under 23. She wins her first match over Sweden 4-1 to advance to the quarterfinals. MattM
Much better start than our Greco team had. Hope she and the rest of the squad can keep it up. Dingo Brigade
Mattyb
Kayla got beat in the semis by Japan (who she just beat last time). Will have a tough one for bronze. Her opponent got beat by the same amount by Japan. Kayla did not score on Japan but her opponent did. But no..... the girls team is not doing great. Dingo Brigade
The US team is one day away from finishing the U23s with zero medals in all 3 combined styles. While Miracle and Fearnside made solid runs, most of the Americans have gone 0-1 and prayed for repechage luck. This is really unbelievable
MattM
U23 is definitely the black sheep of our 2017 International Tournaments.

MattM
Well last day of U23s and all 4 US guys make it to a medal placement match (1 finals, 3 bronze). Good finish for what was a disappointing trip for the tram.
