What a talented group of guys.  Too bad Mendez is the only name on that list currently signed up for the Preseason Opener!    Signup ends after 650 wrestlers sign up and all weight classes are filling up fast!

Come on gentlemen -- lets do this!

Do you have a list similar to this, for the grade school kids? Or if not, is there a group of kids worth keeping up with?

There isn't anything for Elementary, but there are a few kids that travel often and have won some major youth events.  These are just a few I hear often.

Case Bell, Landen Haines, Braylon Reynolds, Evan Stanley, Kyle Harden, Landon Hawkins, Rowan Treasurer, Nathan Rioux, Revin Dickman, Parker Reynolds, Rianne Murphy, devin Roberson, Justin Williamson, Preston Haines, Brady Ison, Caden Brewer, Aidan Torres, Seth Syra, Kameron Hazelett, Griffen Vantichelt, Carlos Perez, Jairo Acuna.

I know being a life long Heritage Hills supporter I am partial as is most team supporters.  Just wondering how  Devon Bell a Heritage Hills 8th grade is not on this list?  I have been watching this kid for 3 years now and I just don't see how he remains off this list.

He has a 2-1 record against number 24 Cruz, 6-0 win at the GRR and 7-0 win in the national team wrestle offs, lost 3-1 this weekend in the consolation semis 3-1.  Finished as ISWA runner up this past year while I believe #13 Christain Carroll was 4th or 5th in same weight class.  Wrestled Number 10 Griffin Ison to a 7-5 match how does a kid not even make the list when a Triple Crown Winner has a dogfight with him?

USWA preseason Nationals 5th, GRR 5th, Adidas National Champ and Outstanding Wrestler of the tourney, NUWAY National Runner up, ISWA Runner up and 6th, Member of 2016 Indiana National Gold Team

Again,  I know I am partial to HH just would like our deserving kids to get some recognition.

I was actually trying to figure out how to add Devon and Drake Buchanan.  I have since updated it.  Without having placed at middle school state or winning ISWA I couldn't justify putting Devon in front of any of the kids already ranked.  I am sure as the season starts up there will plenty of kids dropping from the list and others jumping up into the rankings.

I believe Devon Bell went 4-3 at Heartland dulas.  He also just won the American Crown Preseason Nationals couple weeks ago. He did not do Middle school state last year cause his dad is the High School coach and he was traveling with the team.  Thanks for responding,  again I know I am partial but he is a solid kid.

Correction: Devon and Cruz did not wrestle at the GRR, they wrestled at the Grappler Fall Classic, Bell winning 6-0, these two may see a lot of each other in High School.

10 of the 22 from #TheCounty. The majority of the rest from Da Region. We need to get that all-star dual going. It looks like it would be good for years to come. Sorry folks.... may be hearing about #TheCounty for many more years.

Updated after VAC Duals. Some kids killed it, while others did not fair so well. Some kids didn't wrestle and dropped out, others did well and moved up, others did poorly and dropped. Happy to see almost the majority of ranked kids getting at it at the toughest dual in the country.

Hey Sig40, you might start to pay attention to the name Kaden Lone. He wrestled with us at Sparty and went undefeated. He’s a tough kid. I really enjoyed watching him. Probably still needs some feathers to make the list, but I’d be surprised not to see him high on the podium at MS State.

I actually looked him up when I saw he went undefeated at Sparty.  This is a good start for him, he just needs to keep going to big events and he will make his way in.  Is he a 6th or 7th grader?

I have updated the list.  Recent tournaments I looked at were NUWAY national, Midwest Classic, Philo, and VAC holiday duals.

Congrats to Seltzer on winning the prestigious Philo(Beast of the Midwest), Goin winning Midwest Classic(Elite event), and Mendez/Cheaney/Ison going undefeated at NUWAY National Duals.  Jake Simpson also went undefeated at NUWAY Nationals, putting  him on my radar.

Tournaments I'll be watching: Tulsa, McDonough Duals, and of course Middle School State.
