Indywreslingfan
I watched this young man at the Perry freestyle duals over the weekend. Every match he impressed me more and more. I've heard of him but have never watched him. I spoke with a couple parents and they said he is just a 7th grader. His final match I watched him tech fall Brayden Lowery in about 15 seconds. MattM
The kid knows his stuff. This should give you a little background on him, plus some other solid MS kids. Sig has done a great job compiling the list. http://indianamat.com/index.php/topic/51482-whos-the-best-middle-school-wrestlers-in-indiana/ Edited April 15, 2017 by MattM

Bigyusm
I thought he was in 8th grade? Garcia rumor is Mendez will go to Lake Central - then again I swear his dad said MC. One person says he said LC -

DGER
To bad #1, #5, #17, #25 all have a Illinois HS in their futures. It is a shame so many good Indiana wrestlers are going to Illinois for their high school careers. What is the reason for this?
CoachM
Probably an combination of things: Better overall competition, no travel restrictions, more notoriety overall as a state, Illinois has had great success at Fargo as well as cadet and Jr national duals, there are some really great coaches in the Chicago land area, etc.
Juggernaut
Believe Jesse is going to follow his coach Alex Tsirtsis, and so are a few others .
indianmorg
Only time will tell, hopefully he stays in his hometown and can hopefully become Lake Central's 9th state champion and first 4xer. There is not doubt he has the potential and character to do so. With our team being so young if he decides to come to LC he will give us a big boost to having a very solid team the next 5 years.
