I just got word that 4 time National Champ Riley Lefever will be at Perry Meridian's RTC tonight (4/11) along with All American Nick Bova. Last week's room had a lot of high school studs and college studs helping out. Come get better with some Wabash hammers from 6-7:30. Timeinandout Posted April 17, 2017 Share Posted April 17, 2017 PERRY MERIDIAN will host Joliet Junior College coaching staff Tuseday 4/18 6:00-7:30 Joliet will once again be competing at the Junior College level and is located in the Chicago area. Coach Blahut has some good Illinois kids committed, but he would love to add some Indiana studs to his team. Coaches, if you have kids that might want to go the Junior College route this is a great opportunity to meet Coach Blahut. Last week we had an excellent room. There will be some technique then live wrestling as usual. A.J. Blahut is in his first year at Joliet Junior College as the head wrestling coach. He comes to JJC from Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School where he was the head wrestling coach. Blahut was also an assistant coach at BBCHS for several years. Previous to that, he was head coach at Manuel Academy in Peoria. He began his coaching career at Lincoln-Way North in 2010. Blahut has coached many state placers, qualifiers as well as many sectional, regional and conference champions.Blahut wrestled for Lincoln-Way Central where he was a four-year varsity starter winning over 100 matches and earning numerous other accomplishments. He went on to wrestle collegiately for Lincoln College, University of Nebraska at Kearny and Bloomsburg University. At Lincoln, Blahut was an NJCAA Qualifier at 184lbs and an NJCAA All-American, placing 5th, at 174lbs. He also served as a team captain of the Lincoln College team that finished in the top ten at the NJCAA National Tournament both years. He was also a two-time Academic All-American.Blahut earned an Associate's in Arts degree from Lincoln College before completing Bachelor's Degrees in History and Education from Bloomsburg University. He also holds a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instructions from Bloomsburg. Timeinandout Posted April 24, 2017 Share Posted April 24, 2017 Tuesday 4/24 Perry Meridian RTC will be run by Coach Steven Bradley and Marion University. Coach Bradley was a 3 time Indiana State Champ and a Junior College runner-up. During his collegiate coaching career he has helped guide 33 all-americans, 73 national qualifiers and three national champions. We will go from 6:00-7:30 with a lot of live wrastlin.
