It's never too late to get your license and it's open all year. Many HS/MS matches might already be booked for the current season, but there are always cancellations. If interested let me know and I'll get you set up on the free licensure program with the head official in your area.

Any new officials out there (or experienced) New Albany is looking for more officials for our JV and Girls tournament on 23 December, our goal is to have 8 officials for 6 mats.  We have some seasoned officials signed up so this could be a great opportunity for new officials to get some experience.

Because I missed the Summertime deadline for renewal, there’s now a $50 late fee to renew my license, so that’s a big deterrent. Some folks can’t afford that $50 fee (Ie. college students or the unemployed), so the IHSAA may miss out on some great officials. Can someone explain why the $50 late fee exists? Thanks!

I would contact Asst. Commissioner Brian Lewis at the IHSAA for that answer.  blewis@ihsaa.org
