SWSpectator
Got it. Thanks for the change. Any other changes or predictions? 132, 138 and 160 IMO look to be the best weights at this Regional.
1prouddad
With the return of Annakin at 120, I wonder if Bealmer drops to 113 and battle Hartz for that spot. I think Rice will drop to 106. Not sure if that's a good decision as that class is loaded.
SWINfan
With the return of Annakin at 120, I wonder if Bealmer drops to 113 and battle Hartz for that spot. I think Rice will drop to 106. Not sure if that's a good decision as that class is loaded. Is Rice going to make it all the way down to 106? Heard he was at 112 today?
1prouddad
Im sure that with a 2# allowance coming up, he will probably make it.

tigersandbears
Matherly has not wrestled Craig. Craig was out in Hill classic and Matherly was hurt I guess for Reitz / North dual. Craig only has 2 losses on the year. One to Blake Mulkey from Brownsburgh and the other to Saul Irvin 6-4 today.

I would, Baxter is a beast and if he's healthy, he wins the spot decisively.
Evertonblues87
I would, Baxter is a beast and if he's healthy, he wins the spot decisively. Yea Baxter is a beast. Yet Bealmer is undefeated and pinned one of the top ten....

SouthernINGuru
Bealmear and Annakin should be a good match but I think Annakin wins and wins the regional. Conner brown from memorial wrestled 170 at the 10 way. Rice at 106 would shake up those predictions. He lost to casebolt 3-0, 4-2 last year. Dont sleep on Mitchell Brown or Jacob Sulawske either

SWSpectator
If Rice plans to go 106, he would still have to make scratch weight at 106 in order to wrestle at that weight for Sectionals. So the 2lb allowance won't help him if he can't make scratch, he would definitely make 106 a lot deeper if he makes it. Would be nice if Bealmear could make 113, the kid is too good to be wrestling JV, and it would make Castle's lineup a lot better.
1prouddad
I think Rice will try to get that scratch weight(106) at team state. I can see him coming out of Castle SECTIONAL in 3rd behind Casebolt(Ca) and Scott(HH). I think Hinderliter has 106 locked up at the Central sectional, just not sure who would come out 2nd heading into Regionals.
SWSpectator
I think the NP 106 would be 2nd in the Central Sectional (Kendall I believe is his name). Rice beat Kendall last year at the Regional 3-2.
SouthSideJimmy
106 1. Casebolt - CA 2. Hinderliter - MD 3. Kendall - NP 4. Scott- HH Casebolt will avenge a lose that never should have happened on a crazy 5 point scramble.

samaj
I'm glad that SWINfan seems to know the inner workings of MHS Wrestling. I wish this person would be transparent enough to let us know who he is. I'm not sure he has any clue what he is talking about. As far as I know, Mr Rice is no where near even thinking about making or trying to make 106. frigginhurts
BlueBolt
Regional talk already...When will they ever learn? This regional ALWAYS has kids that begin to peak the weekend of Conference and come out of the Sectionals like a spring loaded mongoose.
SWSpectator
And if that is the case again this year, I will make new predictions the week of the Regional.
