Just some things I have seen with all this fun

Of the 9409 state qualifiers that I have a grade for
5088 were seniors 54%
2827 were juniors 30%
1119 were sophomores 12%
375 were freshmen 4%

Of the 310 schools that fielded a team at the sectional level last year, 19 have never had a state qualifier, 41 never had a state placer, and 156 never had a state champ.

Most of these wrestlers either won state or took runner up at some point in their career.
Which basically means if you are a big pounder as a younging there is a good chance you're going to turn into a super mega pounder.

That short list helps further the evidence that Parris has a solid shot at being one of the all-time greats by the time he graduates. At this rate he'll be a 1-loss 3xer with a veeeeeerrrry close loss to the state champ as a freshman, before dominating the field with a returning state champ as a sophomore, up 40 pounds.

Also shows how much better the young heavier weights are getting. 8/14 on that list are just from the last 7 years!

I will say in a few years North Putnum will have a SQ and could have its State Placer it never had.

#stonecoldpick #lockitup

It's true!!!!! Team Garcia has transferred to North Put. We wish the Garcias good luck at their new school! Also... Good luck to Mr. Garcia for getting his first coaching job there! Hard to turn down $40,000 to be a coach and lunch lady..... I mean lunch person.

Not up on my central IN geography but assuming NoPutnam is not in #daCounty does #daCounty become #daNextCountyOver or #daArea (#daRegion is taken!)?

he wrestled 182

From 182 to 220 between freshman and sophomore year. He may not have actually gained all the weight but he still jumped up 38 pounds.

I see what you guys are saying.

I was thinking last year as in the 2015-2016 season he wrestled 220.

and the previous year before that he wrestled 182.

I was saying that THIS year is the 2016-2017 season since school has started, BUT I guess since wrestling hasn't started it's not techincally THIS year.

Either way he still pounds
